HarpRoom at the Lifeline Art Show North Sydney Opening Night

We at HarpRoom had the incredible privilege of partnering with Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury Sydney for the opening night of the highly anticipated Lifeline Art Show North Sydney on April 3rd, 2025. This exciting event, held at the Fred Hutley Hall in North Sydney, celebrated the talents of local and emerging artists while raising funds for a noble cause.

As the guests arrived and mingled, JoAnn Cerdenia filled the venue with the ethereal melodies of our beloved instrument, setting the perfect ambiance for an evening of art appreciation and community support. The gentle strums of the harp created a serene atmosphere, allowing attendees to immerse themselves fully in the exceptional artworks on display.

The Lifeline Art Show North Sydney presented a unique opportunity for art enthusiasts and collectors to acquire remarkable pieces from a curated selection of works by talented artists. With the renowned Sydney-based art dealer Damien Minton serving as the judge, the event showcased the finest in local artistic talent.

Beyond the visual delights, our participation in this event held a deeper meaning. By supporting the Lifeline Art Show North Sydney, we contributed to the establishment of a new Lifeline Crisis Centre in the area, helping to expand essential mental health and crisis support services for the local community.

Building on the success of this collaboration, HarpRoom is thrilled to announce the launch of our "Harp for a Cause" program in October 2025. This initiative aims to leverage the healing power of harp music to support various charitable organizations and causes. The main recipient for the inaugural year will be the Sulo Scholarship program, which provides financial assistance and educational opportunities for underprivileged children in remote areas of the Philippines. By supporting this remarkable program, we aim to contribute to the dreams of countless families, empowering the next generation through the transformative power of education.
